Case Study: museum in suburban Boston, MA
The museum was using spreadsheets to track donors but had recently adopted salesforce.com for basic functions such as calendars and contacts. GroupSoft installed the Nonprofit Starter Pack app from Salesforce Foundation to facilitate fundraising efforts. We assisted in the data load from spreadsheets and provided the initial user training. We evaluated third-party apps to provide functionality not included in Nonprofit Starter Pack. GroupSoft also developed a set of custom objects to organize the rental of museum facilities for private events.
Case Study: property management app
GroupSoft developed a prototype property management system for condominium property managers using salesforce.com. This included a web site where residents could log service requests, reserve facilities and obtain documents needed when selling their units. Property managers and condo boards were provided with a dashboard to track the performance of vendors assigned to service requests.
Case Study: SiteSpect, Inc.
SiteSpect, a fast-growing technology company based in Boston, Massachusetts, provides non-intrusive multivariate testing and A/B solutions for website optimization. When they decided to migrate from Notes-based applications to salesforce.com, they looked to GroupSoft Consulting for assistance. We handled the initial setup of salesforce.com, mapped the data in their Notes databases to the salesforce.com fields and added custom fields as needed. SiteSpect was able to monitor our progress using their trial account. GroupSoft also did the initial training for their sales and tech support professionals. The result was a smooth and seamless transition.
