|GroupSoft Raises Bar With GS/HelpDesk Version 13|
|September 1, 2009 - Newton, MA - GroupSoft has begun shipping Version 13 of GS/HelpDesk, its flagship IT service management product for Lotus Notes and Domino. This major software update includes dozens of new features and enhancements. This includes improved data export capabilities and the consolidation of all email-handling routines into a single agent for easier administration and greater reliability.|
"This new release signals our continued commitment to the Notes platform, and our commitment to our customers that we will respond to their needs as they evolve. As always, some of the best ideas for this upgrade came directly from our customers.", according to Carl Fink, GroupSoft founder and CEO.
GS/HelpDesk continues to be a very cost-effective solution for IT shops running Domino servers. It takes advantage of existing infrastructure and expertise to provide a truly low TCO (total cost of ownership) when compared to both hosted and locally-installed solutions.
GS/HelpDesk Version 13 is available now. A full evaluation version is available by registering on the GroupSoft web site. The product runs on all Domino 6.5 or later server platforms including Linux. It can be used with either a Notes client or a Web browser. License fees are based on the number of IT technicians, with unlimited employee self-help access. The license includes incident/problem/change management, project management, knowledge base and asset/vendor modules. All GroupSoft products are licensed with fully unlocked design (source code).
