| GroupSoft Systems and Strafford Technology Announce Training Alliance |
| Strafford To Provide Seagate Software Reporting Product Expertise to Users of GroupSoft Systems' Applications ORLANDO, Fla., Jan. 16, 2000 -- GroupSoft Systems, Inc., a Lotus Development ISV Business Partner, today announced an alliance with Strafford Technology, Inc., that will provide its customers with training and consulting services on the full line of Seagate Software products including Crystal Reports. Under the agreement, customers will be able to attend training sessions on their GroupSoft Systems product, led by GroupSoft Systems instructors, and Seagate Crystal Reports, led by Strafford instructors, at Strafford's new Boston facility. On-site training and consulting services will also be available from Strafford if required. GroupSoft Systems develops help desk and customer relationship management (CRM) applications for Lotus Domino, Lotus Notes and the Web. The company's products include the GS/HelpDesk, GS/ServiceDesk and GS/SalesDesk. The products give users basic sort and report capabilities using standard Notes views and the full-text search engine. For charts and more complex reporting, GroupSoft Systems has selected Seagate Crystal Reports and Seagate Analysis as the fully supported solutions for their product line. This created a need for a reliable and respected partner to supplement the internal resources devoted to these products. Carl Fink, president and CEO of GroupSoft Systems, has seen customer interest in metrics for customer service and internal help desk applications increase dramatically. Small, departmental help desks are beginning to measure performance in ways that were previously used only by the largest enterprise customers. He decided to offer a one-stop training solution and fortify the company's ability to satisfy demand for complex reporting from Domino databases.
