Announcing GS/ServiceDesk Version 16

GroupSoft is now shipping GS/ServiceDesk Version 16, a customer service app that runs on the IBM Domino platform. This is part of our long-term commitment to our customers to support and continuously improve our solutions for Notes/Domino.

Version 16 includes a major upgrade to the email templates feature. Templates can now include rich text and attachments. The user experience when creating an email from a template has also been improved. As always, this feature allows you to merge fields from the help request into the body of the email.

A "What's New in Version 16" document is available on our web site for existing customers.

GS/ServiceDesk Version 16 is available now. A full evaluation version is available by registering on the GroupSoft web site. The basic application runs on Notes/Domino 6.5 or later. The XPages self-help and dashboard features require Domino 8.5 or later. The XPages Mobile interface requires Domino 8.5.3 with Upgrade Pack 1 or later.

Software license fees are based on the number of customer service agents, with unlimited customer self-help access. The license fee includes incident ticketing, change management, knowledge management, asset management and QA (bug) management. GS/ServiceDesk can also be used as a combined internal/external help desk.

GS/ServiceDesk, like all GroupSoft applications, is licensed with full source code (unlocked design) and is a fully supported product, including real telephone and email support directly from GroupSoft, not an outsourced provider.
