|GroupSoft Backs HDI Benchmarking Study|
|March 26, 2007 - Newton, MA - GroupSoft Systems is providing technical support for customers wishing to participate in the HDI Customer Satisfaction Benchmarking Study. GroupSoft customers with active support agreements are eligible to receive a patch and assistance in implementing the minor changes required to contribute their incident data to the study. The offer applies to GS/HelpDesk, the company's internal IT support product, and GS/ServiceDesk for external customer service.|
The HDI study will run from April 1-September 30, 2007 with results expected in October 2007. Data for the study will come from a standard five-question survey completed by customers of the participating help desks and support centers. Customers receive an email with a link to the survey instrument after their incident is closed.
"Our products already have a built-in email survey feature," noted GroupSoft founder and CEO Carl Fink. "However, we thought it was important for our customers to be able to participate in this benchmarking study to help put their results into perspective by comparing to relevant peer groups."
Future releases of both GroupSoft products will contain built-in support for HDI's Customer Satisfaction Index and similar third-party survey and measurement tools.
There is no cost to participate in the six month study. HDI first introduced their Customer Satisfaction Index service in January 2006 as an annual subscription service.
